PAINTING:

Vega   is  a biracial newborn reborn baby painted with Genesis Heat Paints. I always work for the best and natural result in my ethnic and albino babies. My tender Vegal is delicatly painted complexion with slight mottling, capillaries, translucent veining, birth marks, rash, capillaires,  heel test mark, beauty moles, nostrils shaded, wet areas...  And every details has been shaded and bright places. The finish is a varnish protection and a texture medium to increase real skin appearence.   A complex set of nuances that print realism to her skin. .

Painting Effects:

- Flaky skin effect   hand painted: palm of the hand, sole of the feet and strategic areas in the face and the back

- Soft Lanugo effect hand painted

- Infantile hemangioma in different phases of growth and evolution from small bumps to infected ulcerated hemangioma on the torso. Infantile hemangiomas are lumps of a bright red color (which turns pinkish over time) of varying size, from millimeters to several centimeters. One in 5 children with hemangioma have more than one in different locations of their body.  The increase in size is normal, and can be very striking in some cases; This is usually more intense during the first five months of life.

This time I decided to work a gender  female full torso for my own pictorial research in new  heat effect   techniques  to create infantile hemangioma in different phases of growth and evolution from small bumps to infected ulcerated hemangioma on the clavicle.

My collectors know that I am fascinated by investigating different cutaneous disorders and diseases in order to express them realistically in my art dolls. Lately, I have been working on new vinyl techniques that allow me to  mold with heat some areas. This delicate process allow me to mold and deform strategic areas and investigate new ways to give more realism the cutaneous diseases of newborns.  I mold the surface to break the flat vision and build creases, wound, roughness, scars over the vinil piece. After this I am ready to paint  a realistic optic effect. It is a risky technique that requires precision in the use of temperatures and the tools of molding to avoid damage, crack or weaken the selected areas. If any artist is interested in my technique and wants to start my advice is to start by practicing on vinyl test pieces That's why I usually apply this technique in accessory elements such as torsos, tumy plates and belly plates.

VEGA´s  torso is not an original part of the kit, it was chosen by me since its measurements and volume were perfectly adapted to the harmony of this kit.  It is important to keep in mind that torso is NOT included but if the collector wish I can add it as a GIFT. In any case,  Vega will be send without  the assembled  torso. I will add torso  and 5 zip ties if you really wish it.

Although the torso creates a beautiful effect but it makes the baby keep stiff. If in the future,  you want to enjoy the the torso, just cut the zip ties of the head and the limbs, remove the cloth body, refill it and placed it in the inner of the torso. After this,  reassemble the head and limbs to the fabric body with the new zip ties.

Hair: Aplusmohair and double sealed.

Eyelashes:  Silk mohair double sealed.

EYEBROWS: hand painted

FILLING:

Vega has been weighted with high-quality and non-toxic materials:  glass beads, polly pellet and premium silicone fiber fill. I only use high quality products to create my babies.

MAGNETS:

Vega  has 1 strong magnet in the mouth for  magnetic pacifier   and 1 magnet in the head for magnetic hair ornaments so please keep away from heart pacemakers and electronic equipment. I can remove the magnet if needed.

My babies are reborn at the seaside and they all are painted and photographed with natural light. Also coloring and brightness can vary depending on the screen of your personal computer.

This photos have been taken in a variety of natural lighting conditions and different days (from sunny to cloudy) to show the changes  of  Vega´s  skin tones and her volumes. 

*   I always use scent wafers so if you have any type of allergy you must notify to take it off. Also if you have any problem with magnets.
